Just Rez and Lumines creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi, Child of Eden is a game on-rails shooter that promises to offer a trip to the bright, colorful, tuneful and, above all, psychedelic world of Eden.

The plot of the adventure puts players in the mission to rescue a woman Limi, who is trapped in Eden, a virtual world equivalent of the internet in the future. The problem is that this world is infected by a virus, and during his journey will be necessary to purify all Archives ("files" instead of stages) of Eden.

The player receives three types of weapons: the common shot, the gun and what developers call "Happy Bomb" or "Happy Bomb." Besides the option of using the common controls platform, the Xbox 360 version offers the possibility to take the peripheral Kinect to amplify the feeling of being the conductor of an orchestra.
